Episode 910
Rev. Richard Brunton discusses the first chapter of Genesis, the "book of beginnings." He suggests that although Moses is believed to have written Genesis, he required divine inspiration to do so, given the events occurred long before his time. Genesis 1 emphasises that God is eternal, the creator, and that everything starts and ends with Him. Brunton stresses that the important belief for Christians is not the time span of creation, but the fact that it was God who created.

Episode 912
Rev. Richard Brunton discusses the biblical interpretation of the creation of man and woman, and the principles of marriage. He emphasises that marriage is God's concept, not man's, and although God made woman as a helper for man, marriage is a unique entity. As Genesis suggests, a man must leave his parents and unite with his wife, signifying the start of a new relationship and family, though the importance of respecting and valuing one's original family remains.

Genesis 3

Episode 914
Rev. Richard Brunton begins a series on the life of Joseph. He discusses Joseph's complex family background, being the favoured son of his father, Jacob, and his mother, Rachel. This favouritism, along with Joseph's dream, where he saw his brothers' sheaves bowing to his, stoked resentment among his siblings. The Reverend also mentions the significant "coat of many colours" that Jacob made for Joseph, which further aggravated his brothers.
