Anointed by the power of The Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul taught us in Ephesians 6: 16-18 to...
'In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints'
and in 1 Timothy 2: 1, he stated...
'I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people'
I am an Englishman and proud of it. This is simply but significantly because I am and will forever be grateful to all those soldiers that gave their lives and all those others that sacrificed much so that I could live in a country that is incomparably better than it would have been had they not.
However, I rarely think about my nationality because of the ultimate identity I have had since I was 9 years old when Christ and I connected and I became a child of God through accepting that The Christ was the only one who could save me from all the darkness in my heart and life (sin) and the punishment I deserve because of the parts of it that are my fault/responsibility.
Since having my eyes opened to the truth of His Glorious Gospel where through His death and resurrection my sin and warranted eternal death have been defeated, I increasingly see my home is heaven not here on earth. Therefore, anywhere and everywhere I go, I feel like a stranger because as Philippians 3: 20 affirms my 'citizenship is in heaven'.
I do not think I am better than anyone and I remain grateful for all those who gave so much, even their all for me and all others in England in war times and other horrific times BUT as I have described there is One who done even more than that for me, One who has even changed things eternally for me which no man or woman could do.
'For God so loved the WORLD' that He gave His everything for us by giving us His Son. His Son died in our place so that we do not have to be punished for our sin if we accept this most precious sacrifice and our need for it. He rose from the grave, conquering death, ascending to heaven, sending The Holy Spirit in His fullness and all those who truly believe in this Glorious Gospel will be with Him now and forever, walking with Him in this life and for all eternity!
The more we get to know Him, the more we hate sin and the better we get (with His essential help) at avoiding sin and trampling on it with lives that increasingly show true worship and praise; lives that are more than a song: lives of true love to Him and everyone in this world.
Hope is for everyone.
Therefore, Living Hope Ministries is for everyone.
Living Hope Ministries is built on genuine relationships with The Lord God Almighty, our Holy Triune God and genuine relationships with people all across the world.
It is not restricted to a country, a continent or even a list of countries that we currently have connections in!
No, as Paul writes, we pray for all of our brothers and sisters around the world with our supplications and for all people in the world and we care for everyone in this world and are always keen to connect with new individuals and new countries where we can because THERE IS HOPE FOR EVERYONE and HOPE IS FOR EVERYONE.
God bless you and remember that if you pray for the work of LHM or do anything else to help us serve The Lord through LHM, you are a part of the LHM team and the LHM family.
